Boca to Move Venue to Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó Due to Deterioration of La Bombonera
Boca will move its venue to Estadio Tomás Adolfo Ducó for its next two matches due to the condition of the playing field at La Bombonera. The forecast of rain alerted the management, accelerating the decision. Boca will play against Estudiantes on Wednesday the 5th and against Vélez on Sunday the 9th. La Bombonera has issues in the area in front of the VIP boxes, where the grass has lifted and caused slips among players, including Leandro Paredes. Boca plans to return to La Bombonera between August 11 and 13 to face Deportivo Recoleta in the Copa Sudamericana. This is not the first time Boca has played in another stadium due to field issues; in February 2024, they did so at Nuevo Gasómetro against Sarmiento, resulting in a 1-1 draw.
