CJ Olive Young Installs K-Beauty Displays in 580 Sephora Stores in the U.S.
CJ Olive Young has installed "Olive Young K-Beauty Edit" displays in 580 Sephora stores across the United States. This accounts for approximately 87% of all Sephora locations in the U.S., featuring over 150 products from 19 Korean beauty brands. The displays are primarily focused on skincare products, with some stores operating in a shop-in-shop format. CJ Olive Young opened standalone stores in Pasadena and Los Angeles, California, in May and June of this year, and the installation of these Sephora displays is part of a strategy to expand its presence in the U.S. market. A representative from CJ Olive Young stated that while standalone stores emphasize the K-Beauty experience, the Sephora displays serve to introduce K-Beauty to a broader audience. Additionally, CJ Olive Young is operating a pop-up truck in New York's Times Square to further engage with consumers. This display installation is related to CJ Olive Young's overseas expansion strategy, and actual performance will be assessed based on sales data from each store.
