ENS DAO Proposal Establishes New Security Council with Term Until July 2028

ENS DAO has initiated a proposal to establish a new Security Council based on the results of EP 6.50 elections, with a term ending on July 16, 2028. The new Security Council will inherit existing responsibilities, tasked with canceling malicious proposals within ENS DAO, but it will not have the authority to initiate, modify, or actively promote governance proposals. The proposal will be configured by granting the corresponding permissions to the DAO's TimelockController. The proposal also states that if the DAO does not pass a new proposal for an extension after the two-year term, any address may call the relevant function to revoke its cancellation proposal authority.
