Kaczyński Plans to Establish a Commission on Zondacrypto with Experts
Jarosław Kaczyński announced a draft law to establish a special public trust commission to investigate the zondacrypto issue. Kaczyński emphasized that the commission will consist of experts, not politicians. At a press conference, he stated that the current government is involved in the scandal and blamed the opposition. The commission is expected to have powers similar to parliamentary investigative committees, including the right to summon witnesses. It will consist of fifteen experts, although the selection process has not been specified. Kaczyński announced that the party will submit the draft law but needs support from members of the ruling coalition, which prefers the establishment of an investigative commission. The zondacrypto case has sparked intense political discussions, and in recent days, new findings and accusations have emerged among politicians. So far, only Radosław Piesiewicz, the head of the Polish Olympic Committee, has been detained, and further arrests are possible.
