Stablecoin Market Cap at $14.45 Billion, Below 365-Day Average
The total market capitalization of stablecoins has been recorded at $14.45 billion, falling short of the 365-day average of $14.74 billion. Analyst Darkpost stated that over the past year, outflows in the stablecoin market have exceeded inflows. This indicates that more funds are leaving the market than entering, a typical trend observed in bearish markets. If the supply of stablecoins does not increase, the expansion of liquidity that can be utilized for trading and investing in virtual assets may be limited. This analysis focuses on the direction of long-term capital flows rather than short-term price rebounds, suggesting that sustained net inflows and whether the total market cap exceeds the 365-day average will serve as criteria for assessing market conditions. Currently, the market cap does not meet this criterion, and changes in stablecoin supply are interpreted as indicators of market liquidity and demand for dollar-linked assets. The future direction of the market is expected to be further confirmed based on whether net inflows and market cap recover to the annual average.
