Tether Invests €28.8 Million in Juventus

Stablecoin issuer Tether will participate in Juventus' proposed €250 million capital increase plan, contributing €28.8 million in proportion to its shareholding. Tether voted in favor of the capital increase plan at the shareholders' meeting on November 3, but abstained on other proposals, including the approval of the club's annual financial report showing a loss of €66 million. In December 2025, Tether made a binding non-invitation offer to acquire all shares of the club from Juventus' major shareholder Exor, but it was rejected. Last November, Tether participated in Juventus' €98 million capital increase, contributing €11.7 million, but opposed the specific arrangements of the capital increase plan.
