The 'Own Business 2.0' Program Offers Grants Up to 2.5 Million UAH
Starting from September 9, the updated 'Own Business 2.0' program has launched in Ukraine, increasing the maximum grant for business development to 2.5 million UAH. The program includes two directions: for starting a business and scaling existing enterprises. The basic grant for opening a business ranges from 100,000 to 300,000 UAH, with bonuses up to 500,000 UAH. For scaling, grants range from 500,000 to 1.5 million UAH, with the possibility of receiving up to 2.5 million UAH. Bonuses include 5% for entrepreneurs aged 18-25, 20% for veterans and other categories, 30% for businesses in frontline areas, and 50% for priority sectors. Grants can be used for equipment, rent, marketing, and other expenses. The grant does not need to be repaid, but taxes must be paid. In case of property destruction due to aggression, the money does not need to be returned. The program is implemented by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the State Employment Service in partnership with banks. Over four years of the program's operation, more than 42,000 entrepreneurs have received about 12 billion UAH in grant support.
