bStocks Dominates Tokenized Stock Trading Volume in Latest Market Snapshot

- The main variable to watch is whether bStocks can sustain its outsized trading share. A platform controlling nearly 90% of tracked on-chain volume suggests liquidity is concentrated, which can shape where users trade and how other tokenized equity venues compete.
- The gap between TVL share and trading share across bStocks, Ondo, and xStocks points to a market still separating passive asset parking from active trading. Future data on whether volume broadens beyond one venue will matter more than headline market size alone.
- Holder growth above 1 million and active traders at 235,000 suggest rising participation, but the market will likely focus on whether that activity remains durable and diversified across platforms rather than clustered in one venue.
A latest market snapshot showed the global tokenized stock market reached $2.55 billion in total value locked as of last week, with bStocks accounting for 88% of on-chain trading volume despite holding a smaller share of sector TVL than Ondo and xStocks.
According to the data, total on-chain trading volume for tokenized stocks reached $1.7 billion, while the number of holders surpassed 1 million and active traders climbed to 235,000. The figures were presented as a broad snapshot of the global tokenized stock market.
bStocks held 26% of total value locked, but contributed 88% of all on-chain trading volume in the market. That made it one of the most active platforms in the segment by trading activity, even though it was not the largest venue by locked value.
Ondo accounted for 42% of tokenized stock TVL, the largest share among the platforms cited, but represented 2% of trading volume. xStocks held 32% of TVL and 10% of trading volume. The distribution suggests that capital and transaction activity are not evenly aligned across tokenized equity platforms.
The data also showed that nearly 90% of global tokenized stock trading volume came from bStocks. At the same time, the figures leave open important details about market composition and methodology, including how the tracked universe of tokenized stocks is defined and how activity is measured across platforms.
Why It Matters
The update offers a clearer view of where tokenized equities are gaining traction: not just through asset issuance, but through actual on-chain trading. For the tokenized stock segment, trading concentration can be as important as headline asset growth because liquidity often determines which venues attract users, market makers, and further product expansion.
It also highlights a structural feature of the current market. A platform can lead in locked value without becoming the main trading venue, while another can dominate transaction flow with a smaller asset base. That split matters for how the tokenized stock ecosystem develops, especially as projects compete on liquidity, access, and product design rather than TVL alone.
