Anthropic Plans IPO Comparable to SpaceX Record
American company Anthropic, which develops the AI models Claude, aims to raise an amount upon going public that could exceed the record IPO of SpaceX, which stood at $75 billion. Anthropic is preparing to file a public offering application by the end of August, and the final terms of the deal may change during consultations with investors. In 2026, SpaceX raised $65 billion with a business valuation of $965 billion. In the second quarter of 2025, Anthropic's revenue exceeded $11.5 billion, with an expected annual revenue run rate reaching $65 billion. Despite a positive operating profit, the company's net loss in 2025 was nearly $42 billion. Anthropic has entered into a three-year agreement with SpaceX data centers worth tens of billions of dollars for model development. The startup is also finalizing a credit line of over $10 billion. Anthropic plans to list before OpenAI, which has postponed its debut to 2027. If the listing volume exceeds SpaceX's figures, 2026 will become the most successful year in IPO history in the U.S., where new issuers have already raised $160.6 billion.
