Goldman Sachs Holds Largest XRP ETF Exposure at $87.45 Million
Goldman Sachs has been reported to have the largest exposure among publicly disclosed holders of the U.S. spot Ripple (XRP) ETF, amounting to $87.45 million as of the end of Q2 2026. According to the SEC's 13F filing, Goldman Sachs, Jane Street, and Millennium Management submitted their Q2 reports detailing their holdings as of June 30 on August 14. Data from Bloomberg Intelligence indicates that Goldman Sachs ranks first among public filers in terms of XRP ETF exposure. Jane Street follows with $16.64 million, and Millennium Management with $16.20 million. The total XRP ETF exposure among all public filers is reported to be $183.5 million, equivalent to approximately 176.4 million XRP in quantity. By holder type, investment advisory firms had the largest exposure at $120.89 million, followed by hedge funds at $25.08 million, brokerages at $17.85 million, and banks at $14.83 million. The top 10 public holders include Intesa Sanpaolo, Marex UK Holdings, and Ironbridge Private Wealth. It is crucial to note that institutions did not purchase XRP directly but held shares of the XRP ETF. The 13F filings show holdings of U.S.-listed securities and funds, but the purpose of the positions is not specified. CoinDesk reported that Goldman Sachs' ETF holdings may not indicate a long-term directional bet. As of September 2, the U.S. spot XRP ETF recorded a net inflow for 11 consecutive trading days, bringing in approximately $170 million.
