Author: Sun Ki-hyun, Nexblock
South Korea's economic and industrial news media Etoday and blockchain and digital asset specialist media Nexblock announced on September 2 that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with global Web3 data platform RootData for collaboration on blockchain and digital asset data and content.
The collaboration aims to provide Korean users with easier access to various industry data, including global Web3 projects, investment financing, investment institutions, Token Unlocks, and market attention. The parties will explore the feasibility of linking RootData's Web3 data with content and data services from Etoday and Nexblock.
RootData is a global data platform that provides data related to blockchain industries, including Web3 projects, investment institutions, financing rounds, Token Unlocks, and project attention. Through this collaboration, Etoday will leverage RootData's data to strengthen the data foundation of its blockchain and digital asset-related reporting, while Nexblock will explore the potential for linking project information, investment trends, Token Unlocks, and market trends with Web3 professional content and data services in phases.
Initially, the two parties will conduct data linkage tests based on RootData's Web3 data to identify valuable data projects and service forms for Korean readers and users. The scope of future cooperation will gradually expand based on the test results and market feedback.
Etoday's Vice Chairman Lee Jong-jae stated, "The demand for data-driven content that systematically confirms global projects and investment flows in the Korean Web3 market is growing. Through our collaboration with RootData, we will launch diverse data-driven content to help Korean readers easily understand global Web3 industry trends."
RootData co-founder YuBo Pan remarked, "South Korea is one of the core markets for the Web3 industry and is an important area in RootData's future market expansion strategy. We look forward to bringing RootData's accurate and comprehensive data to the Korean market through our partnership with Etoday and Nexblock, providing better services for Korean users and partners."
The two parties will use this MOU as a starting point to explore the application possibilities of blockchain and digital asset industry data and plan to engage in in-depth discussions on various cooperation schemes regarding future data-driven content, project information provision, market analysis, and joint promotion.
